Simard opened the spring season with a career-best round of 65 on Saturday at a single-round-tri-match against Iowa State and Florida Atlantic in Orlando, Fla. He finished first in the event at seven-under-par which propelled his team a nine-stroke victory. This is the Buckeyes first win in the event since 2004. Simard picks up his first career weekly honor.
