Wilson finished a career-best sixth in an impressive field at last week's Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship, held at Sawgrass CC in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.  Thirteen of the 17 teams entered in the annual tourney were ranked in the top 50 of the Golfweek/Sagarin index. Wilson fired a 2-under-par 70 in the final round to post a 3-over 219 (72-77-70) for the tournament. He finished the tourney with 38 pars -- the second most of any golfer.  In the third round, Wilson carded 13 pars and four birdies on 17 of his 18 holes.

Wilson, who was coming off a seventh-place finish at last October's Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge, earns his first career Golfer of the Week selection.  He is the first Wildcat to earn the honor since Bjorn Widerstedt on March 28, 2003.
