Sophomore Tyler Duncan led Purdue to a sixth-place finish at the Puerto Rico Classic with three rounds in red numbers, earning his first top-10 finish of the season last week. The Indiana native finished in a seventh-place tie individually after carding a composite score of 208 (-8) to edge the top-ranked golfer entering the event by one stroke. Duncan opened competition with rounds of 69 and 71 before posting a 68 in the final round to match his career best. This is the first weekly honor for Duncan’s career and the first selection for a Boilermaker golfer since March 2007.
