Hoag took home eighth-place honors at the Rio Pinar Invitational this past week, totaling 215 strokes over the three-round event. The 2008 second-team All-Big Ten member carded scores of 72-70-73 for a 71.7 average, tallying 1-under par for the tournament. This is Hoag’s third Top 10 finish of the season as the Upper Arlington, Ohio, native earns his first career weekly honor.
