Wisconsin's Jones Tabbed Men's Golfer of the Week

Garret Jones, Wisconsin Jones earned Men's Golfer of the Week honors after needing 212 strokes (72-70-70) to finish second in the St. Croix Collegiate Classic. His finish marked just the second time in his career that he placed runner-up in a tournament. This past fall, the sophomore finished second at the Radrick Farms Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. (74-71-69--214). Jones' effort this past weekend was the second-lowest of his career - eight strokes shy of his 204 score at the Xavier Invitational last fall.
