Penn State's T.J. Howe earns Big Ten Men's Golfer of the Week honors after tying for third at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. Howe finished with an even-par 213, just one stroke behind the leader, to help the Nittany Lions to a tie for third place in the final team standings. The Nittany Lion senior posted a 1-under 70 in the first round but followed with a 4-over 75 in the second, putting him in a tie for eighth heading into the final round. Howe then fired a 3-under 68 in the third round to help him climb into a tie for third. The award marks the second of Howe's career.
