Men's Golfer of the Week

Newman claimed top honors at the Western Intercollegiate last weekend, winning the event by two strokes and firing low rounds of 67 and 69.  His three-round score of 214 (+4) piloted the Spartans to a second-place tie with UC Irvine, just missing the top spot by one stroke.  The sophomore picks up his second career weekly honor and first of the season.
