Chase Wright, Indiana

Sophomore Chase Wright earned his first career collegiate medalist honors, doing so in impressive fashion with a seven-stroke edge over the field at the 2010 adidas Hoosier Invitational. The Muncie, Ind., native improved his score by two strokes each round, shooting subsequent totals of 70, 68, and 66. Wright ended the competition at nine-under par, carding a three-round score of 204. His medalist performance led the Hoosiers to a dominating 36-stroke victory in the event. This is the first weekly award for Wright’s career and the first for a Hoosier golfer this season.
