Big Ten Golfer of the Week:
Kevin Foley, Penn State
Sr. - Somerville, N.J. - Immaculata
Senior Kevin Foley fired an unprecedented 69-68-68, 205 tournament-total to occupy the top spot on the Kepler Intercollegiate leaderboard last week. Foley's eight-under-par, three-round total earned him first-place medalist honors and also set the individual scoring record at the tournament, bettering the previous record of 210 set in 1991, 1998, and 2000. Foley's previous top finish came as he tied for the title at the Boilermaker Invitational on April 19, 2009. This marks Foley's fifth tournament title of his collegiate career and first of the season. The selection marks the second Big Ten Golfer of the Week award for the Somerville, N.J., native.
Last Penn State Golfer of the Week: Tommy McDonagh (March 17, 2010)
