BIG TEN CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Matt Harmon, Michigan State
Sr., Grand Rapids, Mich./East Kentwood

Harmon earned his first title of the season at the Kepler Intercollegiate last week as he bested a field of 90 players from 15 teams, including 10 conference squads.  His two-day even-par total of 142 (71-71) earned him a two-stroke victory in the individual race and helped lead the Spartans to a runner-up finish.  The win was Harmon's second victory of his Spartan career as he won the Schenkel E-Z-Go in 2006.  His efforts last weekend also marked his 13th top-five finish of his collegiate career.  This is Harmon's second career weekly award as he was honored on March 23, 2006.

Bronson La'Cassie, Minnesota
Sr., Brisbane, Queensland, Australia/Kelvin Grove

La'Cassie finished runner-up at the U.S. Intercollegiate last week -- an event that included several of the top nationally-ranked teams.  The senior's total of 6-under-par 204 (68-69-67) was highlighted by the field's top final round score of 67.  The second-place finish ties a career high for La'Cassie, and his three-round total of 204 marks a new career 54-hole score. In addition, La'Cassie's 204 is tied for the third-best 54-hole score in school history.  La'Cassie has now earned a weekly honor in each of his four seasons at Minnesota (April 6, 2004; April 7, 2005; April 25, 2006; April 17, 2007).
