Michigan State to Host Nine Big Ten Men's Golf Squads in Action This Week

Penn State hosts Rutherford Invitational; Purdue is idle; No Golfer of the Week selected

	Michigan State's Mitch Pierce and the Spartans will host its annual Bruce Fossum/TaylorMade Invitational this weekend, which will include nine Big Ten squads in the field.

Due to the cancellation of the 2005 Kepler Intercollegiate last weekend, no Big Ten Golfer of the Week was selected. The Kepler wascancelleddue to inclement weather, markingthe firstcancellation in the tournament's 36-year history.

This weekend, Michigan State will play host to eight other Big Ten squads atthedistrict-filledBruce Fossum/TaylorMade Invitational at Forest Akers West Golf Course.
