Illinois Builds Lead Through Third Round of Big Ten Men's Golf Championships

Illinois remains in front through three rounds at the Big Ten Men's Golf Championships at the Pete Dye Course at French Lick. The Illini sit at 6-over through 54 holes and own a seven-stroke lead over the field. Minnesota (+13) comes in at second place, while Indiana and Iowa (+26) are tied for third entering Sunday's final round.
Illinois' Thomas Pieters took sole possession of first place atop the leaderboard, posting his third consecutive round of 2-under 70. Pieters is at 6-under through 54 holes, followed by teammate Brian Campbell and Minnesota Erik Van Rooyen in a tie for second at 1-over for the championships.
The final round of the Big Ten Men's Golf Championships will begin at 8 a.m. ET on Sunday with tee times concluding at approximately 9:52.
