Illinois remains in front through three rounds at the Big Ten Men's Golf Championships at the Pete Dye Course at French Lick. The Illini sit at 20-over through 54 holes and own a seven-stroke lead over the field. Indiana and Michigan State (+27) are tied for second, while Northwestern (+31) sits in third entering Sunday's final round.
Illinois' Luke Guthrie maintained his hold on first-place, posting a 5-under 67 in the third round, marking the lowest round of the championships. Guthrie is at 6-under through 54 holes, followed by Michigan's Matt Thompson (+1) in second and Northwestern's Sam Chien and Michigan State's Dan Ellis (+2) in a tie for third.
The final round of the Big Ten Men's Golf Championships will begin at 8 a.m. ET on Sunday with tee times concluding at approximately 9:30.
