WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Iowa shot a 1-over 289 to lead the way through the first round of the Big Ten Men's Golf Championships on Friday at Purdue's Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. Led by individual leader Chris Brant's 5-under 67 in round one, the Hawkeyes hold a four-shot lead entering the second round. Brant has a two-stroke lead over Illinois' Scott Langley, who fired a 3-under 69 in the first round.
