Day 1 at NCAA Men's Golf Regional Complete

Day 1 of the NCAA Men's Golf Regional competition has concluded for the seven Big Ten schools and two Minnesota individuals participating.  In the Central Regional Illinois and Michigan are tied-for sixth with a score of 298.  Ohio State follows closely behind tied-for-ninth shooting a 299.  Indiana trails OSU by one stroke holding down the 11th position.  Penn State rounds out the conference contingent at tied-for 19th in the Central Regional recording 304 strokes.  Minnesota individual's Clayton Rask shot a (+3) 74, sitting at the tied-for-24th spot and Victor Almstrom turned in a (+6) 74, placing tied-for 77th.

Competing in the East, Michigan State posted a 285 holding down the the tied-for 14th position.

Wisconsin sits at the tied-for-17th spot in the West Regional as the Badgers shot a 304.
