Illinois and Ohio State in Top Five After Day 1 at NCAA Men's Golf Championships

Round 1 Results | Live Results STILLWATER, Okla. - Illinois and Ohio State wrapped up the first day of competition at the NCAA Men's Golf Championships in a three-way tie for fifth after posting matching team scores of 291 (+2). The Buckeyes' Bo Hoag finished Round 1 tied for ninth place with an opening-round score of 71 (-1). Three Big Ten teams also competed in the first day of the championships as Iowa rounded out the first round tied for 21st (304), Northwestern closed the round tied for 23rd (306) and Michigan carded a team score of 307 to tie for 25th. The second round of the championships gets underway at 7 a.m. CT on Wednesday at Karsten Creek Course.
