Northwestern - Tied for 18th after two rounds
With 18 holes remaining before the 54-hole cut at the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships, the 17th-seeded Wildcats will need to move up several spots in the standings in Friday's third round in order to play on Saturday. NU shot a 7-over 295 and is in a tie for 18th place.

The low 15 teams and low six individuals not on those teams will move on to Saturday's final round. Ties for the cut will be broken by a sudden death playoff, or if necessary by a non sudden death tiebreaking procedure.

NU is very much in contention for a spot in the final round. The 'Cats -- who are tied with Charlotte, Duke and Texas Tech at 11-over 587 -- are just four strokes behind 15th-place Coastal Carolina and UNLV, which are tied at 7-over 583. Arizona, No.1-ranked Georgia and North Carolina State are tied for 12th at 3-over. Full Story
