Penn State sophomore Scott Rosenthal takes home the first Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award of the season after leading the seventh-ranked Nittany Lions to a 343.300-319.100 win over No. 15 Army on Saturday. Rosenthal earned a first-place finish on the still rings, scoring a 15.400 in the event. The Clearfield, Pa., native's performance marks his career high, a top-five score nationally and the highest score on the rings by a Penn State gymnast in over a year. The weekly award is the first of Rosenthal's career.
