Laury won the all-around and the parallel bars to lead No. 7 Michigan over No. 8 Iowa with a season-high team score of 219.200 last weekend. Laury topped his previous best on the parallel bars with a score of 9.25 and was just two-tenths of a point shy of matching his career-best score with his all-around total of 54.95. In addition to his two first place finishes, Laury also placed second on the pommel horse (9.15), third on rings (9.4) and high bar (9.35), while also collecting a fifth-place showing on vault (9.35). The Marietta, Ga., native earns his second career Conference Gymnast of the Week award as he was also honored last season on Feb. 25, 2004.
