Penn State's Sandy Named Men's Gymnast of the Week

Men's Gymnast of the Week Sandy placed first in the pommel horse, still rings and parallel bars in Penn State's meet with Michigan on Jan. 19. The Brampton, Ontario native now has six individual event wins through the season's first two weeks. In other events, Sandy placed second in the floor and vault, and took sixth place in the high bar. He also posted the highest score in the nation this season in his all-around win, posting a 91.550 mark in the competition. This is Sandy's fourth career weekly laurel.
