Big Ten Honors Michigan and Illinois As Weekly Men's Gymnastics Winners

Gymnast of the Week Cameron wins his first Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award of the 2010 season and the fourth of his career. The junior won three individual event titles and finished third in another in Michigan’s victory over Iowa on Saturday. Cameron was first in floor exercise (15.55), and still rings (15.15), recording season-highs in both events. He also claimed first on pommel horse (14.95) and finished third in parallel bars (14.60), helping Michigan to a 352.450-340.000 victory. Last Michigan Gymnast of the Week: Thomas Kelley (Jan. 25, 2010) Freshman of the Week Mori earns his second Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor after helping the Illini to a 349.700-341.350 victory over Ohio State on Saturday. The freshman finished first in the all-around (87.400), on high bar (15.000), and on parallel bar (14.450). He placed third in still rings (14.700) and on pommel horse (14.050), and was fifth on vault (15.650). Mori also finished ninth in floor exercise (13.550) to lead the Illini to victory.
