Big Ten Network To Air Seven Winter Championships In HD

The Big Ten Network will televise seven winter Big Ten Championships, starting Feb. 26 with the Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. The schedule also includes wrestling, men's and women's gymnastics, men's swimming and diving, and men's and women's indoor track and field.

The Big Ten Men's and Women's Gymnastics Championships and the Big Ten Wrestling Championships will be carried live, and all seven of these events will be produced in high definition.

Coverage begins at 8 PM ET on Friday, Feb. 26, with the Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving Championships from the campus of Purdue University.

The Big Ten Men's Swimming and Diving Championships will appear at noon ET on Sunday, March 7, from Columbus, Ohio. The Big Ten Wrestling Championships will be carried live at 2 PM ET from Ann Arbor, Mich.

The Big Ten Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships will air back-to-back, starting at 7 PM ET on Tuesday, March 9.

The Big Ten Network will televise the Big Ten Women's Gymnastics Championships live at 2 PM ET on Saturday, March 27, from the campus of The Ohio State University.  The network will have live coverage of the Big Ten Men's Gymnastics Championships on consecutive nights at 7 PM ET on Friday, April 2, and Saturday, April 3, from Columbus, Ohio.

The Big Ten currently has 34 teams ranked in the top 25 nationally in Olympic sports programs for the winter season, including top-15 programs in men's gymnastics (No. 1 Michigan, No. 2 Illinois, No. 5 Penn State, No. 6 Ohio State, No. 7 Minnesota, No. 8 Iowa), women's gymnastics (No. 13 Michigan, No. 15 Penn State), men's swimming and diving (No. 6 Michigan, No. 9 Ohio State, No. 10 Minnesota), women's swimming and diving (No. 10 Minnesota, No. 14 Indiana), men's indoor track and field (No. 13 Indiana, No. 15 Penn State), women's indoor track and field (No. 9 Penn State) and wrestling (No. 1 Iowa, No. 3 Ohio State, No. 5 Minnesota, No. 10 Penn State, No. 13 Indiana, No. 15 Wisconsin).
