Michigan and Penn State Earn Weekly Men's Gymnastics Awards

Gymnast of the Week
Penn State's Felix Aronovich reels in the second Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award of his career after pushing the No. 5 Nittany Lions to a tri-meet win over No. 8 Minnesota and No. 10 Iowa on Saturday. Aronovich won the all-around competition for the second week in a row, posting a score of 86.200 to take the crown. He also earned the title on the parallel bars, scoring 14.600. He took second on the high bar (14.800), tied for fourth on the pommel horse (13.600), finished ninth on the still rings (14.200), tied for ninth in the floor exercise (14.200) and tied for 15th on the vault (14.800). With the wins, Penn State remained undefeated this season.

Freshman of the Week
Michigan's Sam Mikulak collects his second consecutive Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor and third this season after taking two individual titles against Arizona State. Mikulak notched the second-highest vault score in the country this season, taking first place with a 16.600 in the event. The Wolverine newcomer also posted a 15.100 in the floor exercise, good for first place. He added third-place finishes on the high bar (14.450) and on the pommel horse (14.300) to lead No. 6 Michigan to the win.
