Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Adam Harris, Michigan

Jr., Wheaton, Il./North

Harris broke the school record and hit an NCAA provisional time in the 60-meter dash crossing the tape in 6.64 seconds at the Eastern Michigan Open.  The Wolverine junior held the previous record with 6.71 set last season at Red Simmons/Jack Harvey Invitational.  Harris also set a new personal best in the long jump leaping 23-6 (7.16m) to win the event.  The Wheaton, Ill. native takes home his second career weekly honor.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Jon Pullum, Purdue

So., Converse, Ind./Oak Hill

Pullum tossed an NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the 35-lb. weight throw at the Purdue Invitational, winning the event with a heave of 68-05.75 (20.87m.).  The sophomore's effort is the fourth longest distance in school history.  Pullum garners his first career weekly accolade.
