  • Placed first and set a new collegiate and American junior record in the 1,000-meter run (2:19.53) at the Nittany Lion Challenge
  • Broke the American junior previous record set by Alan Webb in 2001 and the collegiate record set by Christian Smith in 2006
  • Earns the first indoor track and field weekly award of his career
  • Last Penn State Indoor Track Athlete of the Week: Ryan Foster (Feb. 1, 2011)

  • Placed first in the weight throw with a mark of 20.79 meters against Michigan
  • His weight throw distance ranks first in the nation this season
