Brannen shares Athlete of the Week after posting a personal best time to win the Kris Eggle Invitational 3,000-meter run at the Wolverines' Red Simmons Invitational. The senior shaved five seconds off his previous best in the event to finish first in 7:58.07 in his season debut. The mark ranks as the fastest time in the nation to date. The Cambridge, Ontario native earns his second career indoor track and field weekly accolade as he was also honored on Feb. 11, 2003.

Mulabegovic earns Co-Athlete of the Week honors after becoming the Boilermakers' first NCAA automatic qualifier this season. The senior launched the shot put 19.60 meters, bettering the NCAA standard by .30 meters. The throw also marked the second-best collegiate throw in the nation this season. Mulabegovic helped Purdue to a second place finish at the Indiana/Ohio State Triangular meet on Saturday. This is Mulabegovic's second weekly indoor honor of his career.
