Omole tied his own Big Ten and school records as he won the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.62 at the Wisconsin Elite Invitational over the weekend. The time ties the fastest collegiate mark this season and automatically qualifies him for the NCAA Indoor Championships. This marks Omole's third career indoor honor.

Detmer set an American record in the heptathlon 1,000 meters at the Wisconsin Elite Invitational on Saturday. The senior's time of 2:30.86 in the event broke the 22-year-old mark and helped him to a third-place finish and NCAA automatic qualifying score of 5,651 in the heptathlon to set a UW record. This is Detmer's first career weekly award.
