Minnesota's Abda earns Track Athlete of the Week honors, Iowa's Doris and Nebraska's Pinkelman share Field Athlete of the Week laurels

Jr. – Fridley, Minn. – Fridley

  • Placed first in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:46.97 at the Bill Bergan Invitational, which ranks first in the nation and is an NCAA-qualifying mark
  • Recorded a first-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay (3:09.93)
  • Earns the first Indoor Track and Field weekly award of his career
  • Last Minnesota Indoor Track Athlete of the Week: Ryan Todhunter (Feb. 21, 2011)

  • Placed first in the triple jump with a mark of 16.28 meters at the Razorback Invitational
  • His triple jump distance ranks first in the Big Ten and second in the nation this season
  • Earns the first Indoor Track and Field weekly award of his career
