Demi Omole, Wisconsin

Omole has been named Athlete of the Week after bring home first and second-place finishes at the Meyo Invitational last weekend. The junior claimed the 60-meter competition, tying his own UW and conference records as he crossed the finish line with an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 6.62. He went on to finish second in the 200-meters, clocking in at 21.45. The Milwaukee, Wis., is the second consecutive Badger to earn weekly honors this season. This accolade marks the second of Omole's career.
