Men's Co-Track Athletes of the Week

Jack Bolas, Wisconsin
So., Chapel Hill, N.C. / Chapel Hill
Bolas broke the 30-year old Wisconsin school mile record, winning the event at the Meyo Invitational.  His time of 3:59.40 bettered the old mark by one second and hit the NCAA automatic qualifying standard.  Bolas' time currently leads the Big Ten and ranks fifth nationally.  The sophomore earns his first career weekly honor.

Gakologelwang Masheto, Illinois
Jr., Muan, Botswana / University of Botswana

At the New Balance Collegiate Invitational, Masheto set a new NCAA record in the 500-meters in a winning time of 1:00.82.  The record was previously held by Navy's Michael Greene (1:00.84) set in 1987. The Botswana native garners his second-consecutive weekly award and as many in his indoor career.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Lenny Jatsek, Ohio State
Sr., Walton Hills, Ohio / Trinity

Jatsek defeated all weight throwers at the Meyo Invitational with an NCAA provisional qualifying toss of 64-11.25 (19.79m).  Jatsek has the second-best heave in the conference behind Purdue's Jon Pullum.  The Buckeye senior picks up his second career weekly accolade.
