TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Chris Solinsky, Wisconsin
Sr., Stevens Point, Wis./SPASH
Solinsky won the 5,000 meters with the fastest collegiate time in the nation at 13:30.74 at the Husky Classic on Saturday. The senior's first-place finish set a school and Big Ten record and qualified him automatically for the NCAAs. This is Solinsky's first career indoor award and the third-straight weekly honor for the Badgers.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Ryan Fritz, Penn State
So., Parkesburg, Pa./Octorara
Fritz set a new meet record with a leap of 7'02.50" in the high jump at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup. The height is the eighth-best in the NCAA this season and is the top jump in the Big Ten this year by an inch and a half. The award is the first of Fritz' career and the first for the Nittany Lions this season.
