Brandon Bethke, Wisconsin

Over the weekend, Bethke set a new indoor school record in the 3,000 meters when he crossed the finish line third at the Husky Classic hosted by Washington. His NCAA automatic time of 7:51.54 is a new personal-best by nearly 11 seconds and currently ranks third nationally. The sophomore broke the old UW record of 7:51.69 set by former NCAA champion Chris Solinsky in 2007. Bethke takes home his first career weekly accolade.

Jonathan Pullum, Purdue
So., Converse, Ind. / Oak Hill
Pullum extended his conference-best toss in the weight throw on Friday, placing second at the Iowa State Classic. His mark of 69-04 (21.13m) is a career-best and ranks third in the annals of Purdue history. This is Pullum's third career weekly honor.
