Track Athlete of the Week
Minnesota's Ryan Todhunter earns his first weekly award of his career after placing first in the 60-meter hurdles last weekend at the Snowshoe Open. Todhunter set a career-best time of 8.00, which matches the third best mark in Golden Gopher history and currently ranks seventh among the conference.

Field Athlete of the Week
Micah Hegerle earns his second weekly award this season after leading Minnesota at the Snowshoe Open last weekend by posting a new school-record and NCAA provisional mark in the weight throw. The sophomore earned first place with a toss of 71-3 1/2, which set a new school record. The mark also ranks as the second best throw in the country so far this season and currently is the top mark in the conference.
