Men’s Track Athlete of the Week

Adam Harris, Michigan
Sr., Wheaton, Ill. / Wheaton North

Harris blazed the 60-meter straight away at the Silverston Invitational this past weekend, breaking the tape in a school record time of 6.60 seconds.  The senior automatically qualifies for the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 13th.  His winning time is the fastest in the Big Ten this season and fourth best among all NCAA student-athletes.  The Wheaton, Ill., native earns his fourth career weekly indoor accolade.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Week

Aaron Studt, Minnesota
Jr., Ripon, Wis. / Ripon

Studt tossed a career-best weight throw at the Snowshoe Open this past weekend, placing second overall in the event, but first among collegiate competition.  His mark of 66-11.25 (20.40m.) provisionally qualifies him for the NCAA Championships and serves as the No. 3 effort in school history.  Studt’s toss ranks No. 2 in the Big Ten this season and within the top 15 in the country.  The junior picks up his first career Big Ten Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award.
