Wisconsin, Minnesota Claim 2008 Indoor Track and Field Championships

Men's Championships: For a record eighth consecutive time, the University of Wisconsin men's track and field team won the Big Ten Conference Indoor Championships. The Badgers used a home-track advantage in the Camp Randall Memorial Sports Center to score 127 points. Purdue placed second with 102 points while Ohio State finished third with 82 points. Women's Championships: The University of Minnesota women's indoor track and field team won the 2008 Big Ten Championship at the University Fieldhouse Sunday, topping runner-up Michigan 136-128, while Penn State rounded out the top three. The victory marked the second consecutive conference title for the Gophers.
