Offensive Player of the Week
Nick Spillane, Penn State
So. – M – Franklin Square, N.Y. – Carey

• Scored a career-high five goals on six shots in Penn State’s 14-13 win over No. 8 Penn
• Also scooped up a pair of ground balls in the victory to help the Nittany Lions remain unbeaten this season
• Has scored 11 goals this season, third-highest on the Penn State roster and tied for fourth in the Big Ten
• Earns his first Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor

Defensive Player of the Week
Michael Rexrode, Rutgers
Jr. – D – Leesburg, Va. – Loudoun County

• Cornerstone of a Scarlet Knights’ defense that allowed an average of just eight goals per game in wins over Wagner (12-5) and No. 19 Brown (13-11) last week
• Tallied eight ground balls and caused seven turnovers, lifting him into a tie for ninth nationally with 2.00 caused turnovers per game
• Contributed to Rutgers’ defensive effort that held a high-scoring Brown squad a full 10 goals below its season average
• Earns his fourth Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week award and second this season

Specialist of the Week
Gerard Arceri, Penn State
Fr. – M – St. James, N.Y. – Smithtown East

• Won 24-of-31 faceoffs (.774) and collected 15 ground balls, while also scoring a goal to help Penn State edge past No. 8 Penn, 14-13
• The 24 faceoff wins and 15 ground balls were both career highs
• Leads the Big Ten and ranks second in the nation in ground balls (10.60 per game), and ranks second in the conference and fourth nationally in faceoff percentage (.683)
• Earns his second career Big Ten Specialist of the Week honor
• Last Penn State Specialist of the Week: Gerard Arceri (Feb. 14, 2017)

Freshman of the Week
Kieran Mullins, Rutgers
A – Islip, N.Y. – Islip

• Registered five goals and four assists last week to help pace Rutgers to wins over Wagner (12-5) and No. 19 Brown (13-11)
• Netted a career-high four goals on eight shots against Brown, including all three Scarlet Knight scores in the fourth quarter with the score tied 10-10, capped off with a key insurance goal with 2:16 remaining
• Dished out three assists and scored a goal against Wagner
• Earns his first Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor
