HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- Third-seeded Ohio State advanced to the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Final Four on Saturday after posting a 16-11 win over Duke in the quarterfinals. The Buckeyes will take on either Syracuse or Towson in next Saturday's national semifinals at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.
The Buckeyes, which also advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals in 2008, 2013 and 2015, secured their first-ever trip to the Final Four. Ohio State heads into championship weekend with a 15-4 overall record.
Top-seeded Maryland, the outright Big Ten Champion, will take on eighth-seeded Albany in the quarterfinals on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET.
