Penn State's Brian Forgue earns Defensive Player of the Week accolades

Indiana and Penn State have earned Big Ten men’s soccer weekly honors as announced on Monday. Eriq Zavaleta takes home Offensive Player of the Week, while Brian Forgue earns the nod on the defensive end.

Defensive Player of the Week
Brian Forgue, Penn State
D – Sr. – Glenmoore, Pa. – Downingtown West

  • Played all 90 minutes in the Nittany Lions shutout victory over Stetson (3-0)
  • Helped the Penn State back line limit the Hatters to two shots and zero shots on goal
  • Earns the first weekly award of his career
