Soccer America announced its 2014 Preseason Men's All-Americans, with Penn State's Andrew Wolverton and Maryland's Zack Steffan and Dan Metzger gaining recognition.
Steffan, the 2013 NCAA Championship Most Valuable Defensive Player, played every minute in goal for the Terrapins during the 2013 season. He posted a .710 save percentage and made 76 saves with eight shutouts throughout the season.
Wolverton started all 26 games for the Nittany Lions, and was named the 2013 Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year. He earned first team All-Big Ten honors last season after posting a .809 save percentage.
Metzger started all 26 games for Maryland during the 2013 campaign, and guided the Terrapins to their second straight ACC title where he gained All-Tournament honors.
