Marosevic recorded three goals in Michigan’s two victories over the weekend, giving the Wolverine’s a perfect 2-0 start to the season. On Friday, against Wisconsin-Green Bay, the junior forward chipped in two scores, including the game winner, a mere 15 seconds after the Phoenix tied the game at 3-3. The Rockford, Ill., native punched in his final goal in Michigan’s 4-0 rout ofOregon State on Sunday. Marosevic picks up his second career weekly accolade.

Kevin Alston, Indiana

Alston claimed defensive MVP honors at the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic over the weekend. The junior defender piloted Indiana to a 2-1 win over Duke and a 0-0 tie against No. 12 Akron. On Sunday, Alston captained a backline that withstood 10 shots from the Zips, recording the team’s first shutout of the season. In Friday’s matchup with Duke, the Maryland native netted the game’s first goal, giving his squad the early advantage. Alston is honored with his second career Defensive Player of the Week laurel.
