ROSEMONT, Ill. – Four Big Ten schools are either ranked or receiving votes in the latest editions of two major men’s national soccer polls released this week by the United Soccer Coaches (formerly National Soccer Coaches Association of America/NSCAA) and Soccer America.
In the United Soccer Coaches poll, Indiana leads the Big Ten contingent at No. 4, immediately followed by No. 5 Maryland. Michigan State remains at No. 13, while Michigan is now receiving votes in this week’s United Soccer Coaches balloting.
Three Big Ten teams appear in the latest Soccer America poll. The Terrapins jump to No. 2 with the Hoosiers following at No. 3. Michigan State breaks into the Soccer America poll for the first time in 2017 at No. 24.
