Offensive Player of the Week
David Roth, Northwestern
JR, M, St. Louis, Mo./Chaminade College Prep

Roth was named Offensive Player of the Week after leading Northwestern to two victories and helping the Wildcats claim the adidas/Baymont Inn Invitational championship title this past weekend. On Friday, the sophomore forward netted both goals in NU's 2-0 win over Bradley before adding the game-tying goal, in a 2-1 victory, against Drake on Sunday. Roth was named to the all-tournament team for his weekend efforts and now leads Northwestern with four goals and two assists on the season. This is the first weekly honor the St. Louis, Mo., native's career.

Tillman earns Defensive Player of the Week honors after shutting out both Virginia Commonwealth and Butler last weekend. In over 180 minutes of play, the senior goalie did not allow a single goal and tallied eight saves to be named the Wolverine Invitational Defensive MVP. Tillman has now recorded four shutouts this season and 16 in his career while also claiming three weekly accolades.

Northwestern has matched MSU's record thus far and hosts Ohio State beginning at 2:30 p.m. CT on Sunday while Michigan will travel to Madison, Wis., to take on the Badgers at 3:30 p.m. CT.
