Offensive Player of the Week
Xavier Balc, Ohio State

Balc was named Offensive Player of the Week after recording three goals and six points last weekend. The sophomore midfielder was named the Offensive Most Valuable Player of the Diadora/Spinx Furman Invitational as he led Ohio State to a 2-0 record and the tournament championship. In the Buckeyes' 3-1 win over Coastal Carolina he scored all three goals in just three shots for his first career hat trick.
Defensive Player of the Week
Ray Burse Jr., Ohio State

Burse Jr. was chosen as Defensive Player of the Week after being named Defensive Most Valuable Player of the Diadora/Spinx Furman Invitational. The senior goalkeeper led Ohio State to an undefeated record and tournament championship last weekend by recording eight saves and not allowing a single goal. He recorded six saves against Coastal Carolina and two saves in an overtime victory over Furman. The shut out against Furman was the 10th of his career. Currently he sits with a 0.26 goals allowed average and a 3-1 record.
