Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Matt Eliason, Northwestern

Eliason had a stellar weekend at the NIU/adidas Invitational earning most valuable player honors and guiding his Wildcat squad to a tournament victory. Against Eastern Illinois, the sophomore recorded Northwestern's first hat trick in 11 years with his team winning 3-0. On Sunday versus Xavier, Eliason would tack on the final goal in a 3-0 Wildcat triumph. The Lombard, Ill., native has amassed a team-high six scores already this season and Northwestern is off to its best start in program history (5-1-0). Eliason is honored with his first career weekly accolade.

Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Chay Cain, Indiana
Sr., GK, Aurora, Ill. / Waubonsie Valley
Cain earned his third shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over No. 24 UCLA on Friday. The senior currently ranks second in the Big Ten in shutouts this season. Against San Diego, Cain allowed just one goal helping Indiana to victory by a score of 2-1. The Aurora, Ill., native played all 180 minutes this weekend totaling three saves in the two contests. Cain takes home his third career Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week award.
