Offensive Player of the Week
Lee Nguyen, Indiana

Nguyen, the Gatorade National Boys High School Player of the Year, recorded two goals, two assists and six points last weekend as the Hoosiers defeated Cal State-Northridge, 5-0, and tied Oregon State, 2-2. The freshman helped lead an offense that scored seven goals in two matches while scoring his first career goal and assisting on the game-winner against Cal State-Northridge. He once again assisted on a goal against Oregon State before scoring his second of the weekend to help the Hoosiers claim the Diadora Classic title.

Defensive Players of the Week
Eric Brunner, Ohio State

Brunner was named the Penn State/Nike Classic Defensive Most Valuable Player as he led the Buckeyes to victories over Cal State Fullerton and No. 17 UCLA. The sophomore led a defense in an overtime victory that shutout the Titans before assisting on teammate Kevin Nugent's go-ahead goal against the Bruins. The assist was his first of the season.
