Offensive Player of the Week

Jacob Peterson, Indiana
SO, F, Portage, Mich./IMG Academy
Peterson earned Offensive Player of the Week after notching his first career hat trick as Indiana opened its Big Ten play with a win at Michigan State, 3-1.  The Hoosiers were holding a slim 2-1 lead late in the game when the sophomore forward scored his third goal of the game in the 88th minute to seal the victory.  This was his first multi-goal game of his career and Peterson leads the Hoosiers with 12 points and six goals on the season.

Defensive Player of the Week

Danny O'Rourke, Indiana
SR, DMF, Columbus, Ohio/Worthington Kilbourne
O'Rourke earned Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Hoosier defense allow just one goal on 11 shots as Indiana picked up 3-1 victory at Michigan State on Sunday.  The senior defensive midfielder also proved that he can help out at the other end of the field by picking up his first assist of the year on a cross to teammate Jacob Peterson.  O'Rourke added a second assist on a goal late in the game to help seal the win.
