Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

DeMartin tallied nine total points over the weekend including four goals and one assist as MSU recorded two road victories. Against Western Michigan, DeMartin knocked in a goal and assisted teammate Spencer Thompson on another as the Spartans routed the Broncos, 6-0. On Sunday, the senior forward posted his second career hat trick and helped the Spartans defeat Penn State, 4-3. DeMartin leads the Big Ten in goals scored with nine and collects his second career weekly laurel.

For the second consecutive week Rosenthal earns Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors, marking the third of his career. The junior goalkeeper played a vital role in Northwestern's 1-0 win over No. 16 Ohio State to open Big Ten play over the weekend. Rosenthal collected three saves and earned his eighth shutout of the season, setting a school record for single-season shutouts and extending his career record to 18.
