Offensive Player of the Week

Jason Yeisley, Penn State

Yeisley earned Offensive Player of the Week after scoring both goals including the game-winner against No. 5 Indiana on Friday. On his birthday the freshman forward's initial goal tied the game at 1-1 while handing Indiana just its third-ever regular season Big Ten loss at home. Yeisley has a team-high four goals this season after recording his two versus the Hoosiers.


Defensive Player of the Week

Will Briley, Northwestern

SO, GK, Longview Texas/Longview

Briley earned Defensive Player of the Week after recording shutouts against Illinois-Chicago and Michigan State in his first two collegiate starts last week. The sophomore notched two saves against the Flames and five against the Spartans in 180 total minutes of play. The Longview, Texas native helped the Wildcats record their first back-to-back regular-season shut out victories since 2003.
