Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Jake Stacy, Michigan
Sr., F, Grand Rapids, Mich. / Forest Hills Central

Stacy led Michigan to one of the best weekends in program history as the Wolverines downed No. 8 Notre Dame, 3-1, and bested No. 20 Indiana in Bloomington, 1-0.  Against the Irish, Stacy scored the game’s third goal in the 23rd minute of the first half to give his team the early 2-1 advantage.  In Sunday’s matchup at Indiana, the senior forward netted the game’s only goal within the first few minutes of play.  Michigan defeated two ranked opponents in back-to-back games for the first time in school history.  Stacy is honored with this third career weekly Big Ten award.
