ROSEMONT, Ill. – Five Big Ten men’s soccer players were selected as CoSIDA Academic All-District selections as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America on Thursday afternoon.
Representing District 5 are Indiana’s Colin Webb, Michigan’s Ivo Cerda and Michigan State’s Brad Centala and Andrew Herr. On the list for District 6 is Wisconsin’s Sam Brotherton.
Webb, a sophomore goalkeeper for the Hoosiers, is majoring in Marketing and Professional Sales. A midfielder for the Wolverines, Cerda is an engineering major. The Spartans’ Centala, a defender, and Herr, a midfielder, are majoring in kinesiology and packaging, respectively. Brotherton, a defender for the Badgers, is majoring in business.
All honorees will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected in November.
